The Norma A-Strike Subsonic is a 9mm Luger competition load built around a heavy 158-grain Total Metal Jacket (TMJ) flat-nose bullet engineered to run reliably below the sound barrier at a muzzle velocity of 838 fps. A projectile that?s heavier than standard and a controlled 838 fps velocity drops this load into subsonic territory. The product is a soft predictable recoil impulse that helps you stay on the sights and get back on target faster. For competitors chasing the A-Zone and shooters who spend serious time behind a suppressor that combination of low muzzle rise and repeatable accuracy is exactly the edge Norma set out to deliver.

Every round pairs Norma's optimized subsonic load with a flat-nose TMJ projectile that carries 246 ft-lbs of muzzle energy. Norma positions the load for smooth controlled performance in compatible 9mm Luger pistols. Because the bullet is a TMJ the lead core is fully encased and provides cleaner cycling and less exposed lead. This can be a real advantage during long high-volume range sessions. The flat-nose profile is tuned to fly stable and print consistent groups on paper making this a natural fit for USPSA IDPA steel and dedicated target practice where rhythm and repeatability matter more than raw speed.

The A-Strike Subsonic is loaded in reloadable brass cases with Boxer primers so handloaders can save their spent brass for another life on the bench. Rounds ship 50 to a box with 20 boxes making the full 1000-round case a practical package for shooters who train and compete often and want consistent performance on hand. This is factory-new 9mm Luger ammunition.

Product Specifications

Brand: Norma (A-Strike family)

Caliber: 9mm Luger

Bullet weight: 158 grain

Bullet type: Total Metal Jacket (TMJ) flat nose

Muzzle velocity: 838 fps (subsonic)

Muzzle energy: 246 ft-lbs

Case material: Brass reloadable

Primer: Boxer

Rounds per box: 50

Boxes per case: 20 (1000 rounds per case)

Manufacturer product : 801902422 | UPC: 810036152587

Condition: New

Heavy quiet and tuned for control the Norma A-Strike Subsonic 9mm cartridges are a natural match for suppressor owners competitive pistol shooters and precision-minded range regulars who want soft recoil and consistent accuracy shot after shot.
