The Prodigy from Springfield Armory takes the proven 1911 platform and enhances it with a double-stack design and performance-driven feature set. Built around a compact slide assembly this Prodigy variant pairs a 3.5-inch bull barrel with a full-length grip module. A recontoured hammer and shortened beavertail complement the configuration while two included 18-round magazines provide generous onboard capacity. Optics-ready with an ambidextrous safety and Picatinny rail the Prodigy combines the most beloved characteristics of the 1911 with modern features that shooters demand.

Features:

Caliber: 9mm Luger

Color: Black

Barrel: 3.5" Forged Stainless Steel Black DLC Match Grade Bull 1:16

Slide: Forged Carbon Steel Black Cerakote® Optics-Ready

Frame: Billet 7075-T6 Hardcoat Anodized Aluminum Black Cerakote

Sights: Tritium Front Black Serrated Rear

Recoil System: Captured Guide Rod

Grips: Polymer

Magazines: (2) 18-Round

Weight: 29.3 oz

Length: 7"

Height: 5.5"
